Mission Statement

SLCO exists to support, nurture, listen to, and advocate for Echo Park’s schools, libraries, and community organizations and the work being done therein.  SLCO also reviews incoming Neighborhood Purpose Grant (NPG) applications in an effort to distribute funds to non-profit organizations and school programs in need of support.
